Hispanic Festival promotes Wee Dub Festival 2013

Posted on : 01/02/2013

Launched in 2011, the Wee Dub Festival 2013 has grown from a one night event to a whole weekend of conscious roots music taking in a number of Edinburgh's best underground venues.

This year's festival features a diverse array of quality acts covering dub, reggae, dancehall, dubstep, jungle, digital and beyond. They have pulled together some wicked bands, DJs, MCs and soundsystems for Wee Dub 2013, from the classic dub-dance sound of Zion Train (who return with full band after smashing the 2012 edition) and #1 sound destroyers Mungo's Hi-Fi to the popular retro take of Prince Fatty and Bristol sunshine reggae exponents and festival favourites Laid Blak, plus many more. Check the individual artists' Wee Dub Festival 2013 webpages linked below for full details.

The festival is spread over 5 "sessions" at various fabulous venues, each with a distinct flavour , plus various fringe events, including a social session featuring a reggae roast and kids dub station, a film screening, and the return of our dub clinic. Full run down on the programme page.

Earlybird tickets for Wee Dub are sold out, but standard advance tickets for the whole weekend as well as individual session are on sale now from a choice of vendors. To buy tickets, click the link below
